Super Foods You Should Add To Your Daily Menu
I’ve been thinking of putting together a collection of certain foods that should be on everyone’s table pretty much every day, because of their health benefits. You might want to call them super foods, clean foods or whatever. I don’t care. What matters is that you make sure to have at least one serving of them within a week or so. Don’t dismiss them because they’re cheap and easily accessible. Yes, it’s easy to get impressed by the newest fancy super food that’s featured on some TV show, but the truth is, these staples that have been around forever are more valuable and beneficial than you’d think.
Here we go:
- Kale is a power house of calcium, fiber and vitamin C. 100 grams of kale has twice your daily recommended dose of Vitamin C. Isn’t that awesome?
- Parsley is a powerful anti-inflammatory and is loaded with Vitamin C. Add a little bit of it to your soups, salads or any warm meal, and let it work its wonders. You can grow it in a little pot inside the house so you’ll have fresh parsley all year round.
- Sweet potatoes are a powerful anti-inflammatory and a great source of energy. Boil or microwave them to get the most nutrition out of them.
